A Proposition!

So I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I'm just not drawing as much as I should be these days. As such, I propose an art trade with anyone and everyone. It will get us all out of the slump of artist's block, and back into the trenches of productivity! Theoretically, anyway. So who's with me? I'll show you mine, if you show me yours...

Also, I'll do any requests you have to the best of my ability, since I need the practice, and it seems like it would be a handy way to prepare for commissions, which I would love to do once I get significantly better at anatomy and possess the proper equipment, ie a tablet of some kind and a halfway decent computer with the accompanying more-than-likely-pirated software. Although truth be told, I've seen worse artists become far more successful (check out some children's books when you get the chance. Turns out one really doesn't need a lot of technical skill...). *gasps for air*. But yeah, have at it. It's not like I get enough traffic here to get swamped anyway.


That said, art.. AWAAAAAAAAYYY!!

Not sure what exactly to put here at the moment. It may be because I believe that one's work should speak for itself. More likely, however, is that it's almost eight in the morning and I still haven't gone to sleep yet. All the same, I may as well give a spiel. My name is Sam Gosland, and I believe that art is best used to convey an idea, not just expressing oneself. I believe that there is humor in everything, and if one cannot laugh, then one cannot truly live. I also believe that is all I can think of at the moment, but would be more than happy to elaborate upon request. Until then.. ART AWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYY!!

So this is a rather late response, but you are quite welcome for the watch. I greatly enjoy your work, and was introduced by a friend of mine. Your craft is exquisite, and your works are truly a labor of love, which shows with their quality. I admire the caliber you require yourself in your artwork; it's something I try to uphold as well. Also, The Meek is awesome and I can't wait to see what happens with it!

Hey, sorry for the late response! I'm doing pretty good, currently in between semesters at Mt.SAC, where I'm going there for art and animation. I was at the Art Institute of Orange County for almost two years, but the pace was too much for me. I'm hoping to come back once I gain fantastic academic powers and become accustomed to pwning my classes. How about yourself? What have you been up to?
